Nicole is building her career in the clean energy sector, combining her engineering background with hands-on experience in solar PV systems.
In her role as Global Engineering Manager, she has gained practical experience with solar PV mini-grids across multiple sites in Rwanda, supporting the delivery of electricity to communities.
Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Rwanda and has earned a Category C Electrical Installation Permit from the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA), covering low- to medium-voltage electrical systems. She also recently graduated with an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh in the UK.
Beyond work, Nicole enjoys participating in programmes that foster personal growth, connecting with people, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Pamela is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with over 7 years of experience in renewable energy, finance, and agribusiness, which includes an ongoing position as the CEO of a student micro-lending company, and has previously worked for the Rwanda Revenue Authority.
She has a proven track record in driving growth, resolving complex challenges, and leading high-impact projects. With strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, she has worked closely with high-ranking government officials and international partners across East Africa. She is passionate about empowering communities, advancing women’s inclusion, and scaling sustainable ventures – “Passion and Purpose.”
As Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Oliver overseas the technical aspects of ARC Power operations which span solar and storage technologies, grid design and systems integration and management.
He leads the analytics and research and development activities and is responsible for managing and developing ARC Powers’ IT infrastructure.
Oliver holds an honours degree in Engineering and has over 15 years’ experience working in renewable energy and carbon asset development within the UK and emerging economies globally.
He has been a technical, management and data consultant to FTSE100 companies and is an experienced software architect and developer.
Oliver has a unique understanding of the full solar project development cycle in developing countries.

Karl is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of global business experience and 20 years driving renewable energy ventures across Africa.
He has founded and scaled projects spanning biofuels, solar, and EV, and advised international companies in sectors from shipping to infrastructure.
Before launching ARC Power, Karl held senior corporate roles as Investment Director at Investec and Global Risk Director at Vodafone (FTSE-100).
As Founder & CEO of ARC Power, he leads strategy, partnerships, and capital raising, with a clear mission: to transform energy access in sub-Saharan Africa by delivering affordable, reliable, clean power at scale.
Karl wears a few more unexpected hats, as ARC Power’s very own resident DJ, and the team’s unofficial fitness advocate – he keeps everyone motivated to stay strong, focused, and energised.
Mercia is an Accounting and Finance professional with experience in financial management, financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll administration.
Before joining ARC Power, Mercia gained experience in accounting, administrative management, and financial control. At ARC Power, she supports the company’s financial operations, ensuring the efficiency of accounting processes and the accurate monitoring of financial obligations.
When she is not working with numbers and financial reports, Mercia enjoys spending time with her daughter, expanding her knowledge of accounting and finance, and exploring topics related to management, entrepreneurship and business development.
Emmanuel holds a BSc in Business Management and an MSc in Operations, Projects, and Supply Chain Management.
With over 10 years of experience in renewable energy, he has worked on multiple solar and wind projects, and contributed to national policy development in Zambia. Emmanuel serves on various boards and committees, promoting private sector growth and renewable energy initiatives across the region.
Angel joined ARC Power in 2022 and supports the UK and International Finance teams, ensuring processes are organised and effective. She plays a key role in keeping the finance function well supported.
Angel enjoys exploring new places and experiences, capturing them through photography and videography and curating edits that mirror her sense of style and creativity.
Stephanie brings a rich background in HR, organisational development, talent acquisition and employer branding, from dynamic, high-growth companies like Klarna, Activision Blizzard King and Ernst & Young. She is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering inclusive cultures that drive business success.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and being creative – whether through photography, designing her dream garden, or getting her hands messy with clay. She’s also always up for a challenge, from learning to juggle to running a 10k!
Alick Kakoma is a dedicated Finance professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the Copperbelt University.
With 2 years of hands-on experience, Alick excels in finance management, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk assessment, consistently optimising financial processes. His expertise spans financial analysis, compliance, and cost control, allowing him to deliver significant value by aligning financial strategies with organisational goals.

Abel is an experienced electrical technician specialised in three-phase and single-phase networks.
He has 7 years experience in renewable energy, electrical construction, and maintenance of electrical systems. Abel has worked on a number of projects including mini-grids, solar plants, and solar milling plants. He has certifications in renewable energy and electrical engineering.
Moono is a procurement professional with a Bachelor’s in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Copperbelt University and 4 years of experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and vendor relations.
Specialising in optimising procurement processes, Moono excels in contract negotiation, risk management, and inventory control, driving efficiency and innovation while aligning strategies with organisational goals.
Joaquim graduated in Marketing and Commerce, before pursuing additional training in Business Management. An experienced team manager in telecommunications in Portugal and Spain, he led internationalisation projects in Mozambique before transitioning into the renewable energy industry. He is passionate about leadership and community engagement.
Elisabeth is a dedicated finance and administration expert with extensive experience in accounting, procurement, and operational management.
As Finance Operational Coordinator at ARC Power, she leads process improvements and ensures efficient financial operations. Known for her professionalism and attention to detail, Elisabeth delivers strategic, value-driven results.
Wangui is a compliance professional and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 5 years’ experience in legal advisory, litigation, risk and compliance management.
She has spent the last 3 years as Compliance Officer for M-Kopa, Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Post Graduate Diploma in Law.

Solange is a dynamic and accomplished professional with 19 years of a diverse background in electromechanical engineering and a proven track record in business leadership and operations management.
Before joining ARC Power, Solange served as NOTS Solar Lamps Ltd Country Managing Director. Solange holds a business administration master’s Degree in telecommunication from Coventry University (United Kingdom) and is a certified Project Manager (PMP).
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s in IT. Initially she worked in secretarial and sales roles, before finding a role that more closely matched her passion at ARC Power. Standing out in the Systems team, she has innovated with energy meters and provided training to colleagues in the IT field.
Jose works closely with the ARC Power CEO as Executive Assistant, playing a key role in delivering the company’s vision and strategic priorities.
He leverages strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to streamline operations within the CEO’s office and support high-level engagements with governments, investors, and partners across sub-Saharan Africa.
Jose brings a wealth of experience from his work across academia, international organizations, and non-profits. He holds a Master’s in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies, driven by a deep interest in sustainable energy access initiatives.

Remy has comprehensive experience with 3 years in GIS software management applications. Currently leading the ARC Power Survey Team in the preparation of the extension and construction of MV and LV Grid in Rwanda. Remy is also currently pursuing a Business Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Kigali.
Divine is a Compliance Coordinator at ARC Power, supporting the development and implementation of compliance, environmental, and social management systems across the company’s operations.
Drawing on her experience as a Community Liaison Officer, she brings valuable insight into stakeholder engagement, community relations, and sustainable project development. She is passionate about promoting responsible and ethical business practices, strengthening the company’s commitment to sustainability, and contributing to positive environmental and social impact.

Carl is a seasoned entrepreneur, business developer, and finance professional, and has co-founded numerous companies spanning diverse industries.
He played a pivotal role in assisting several companies in securing and deploying capital within the Nordic growth and technology sectors. Before joining ARC Power in 2023, Carl served as a Partner and Investment Manager at an investment company in Sweden, where he oversaw a multi-billion SEK portfolio comprising high-growth start-ups and scale-up companies.
When he’s not building Excel models, he’s building projects around the house, or traveling with his wife and three kids.
Charlie is the Chief Operations Officer at ARC Power, overseeing operational strategy, financial planning, and scalable growth across Eastern and Southern Africa.
With nearly a decade of experience in energy access, he has played a key role in deploying major projects across the region. Since joining ARC Power at its inception, Charlie has helped shape the company’s cost-efficient approach to grid expansion, which is widely recognised for its innovation and impact. He remains focused on guiding strategic growth to expand sustainable energy access across the continent. Having lived in Rwanda, Mozambique, and South Africa, he’s picked up one rare skill: fluency in visa bureaucracy.
